Cody A. Geisendorfer, PE, ME
Principal Engineer
Cody is an engineer and founder of Chayah Consulting Group. He has worked for large and small companies in both production and leadership roles as both structural engineer and civil engineer. A designer at heart, he specializes in creative solutions to project challenges and leading teams to deliver results.
Cody has a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Univerity of Nevada - Las Vegas in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He also maintains contractor licenses in Colorado and Florida.
Some of his accomplishments include implementing new software and standards to a 300-plus engineering firm, starting and running a structural department for a multi-state firm, growing a previous firm from $50k to $1M in revenue while being in the top 25 growing firms Northern CO, and being the engineer of record on over 1,000 projects.
Cody enjoys travel, remodeling, spending time with family at theme parks, hiking, gaming, and boating in his free time.
Michelle D. Geisendorfer
Executive Assistant
Michelle is the executive assistant to Cody and provides office and sales support, event planning, interior decorating, and human resources. Michelle specializes in project coordination, client happiness, office culture, and keeping the administrative and marketing departments running smoothly.
Michelle’s accomplishments include leading a sales team at a large department store and beating many sales goals, completing college while raising children, working as a bank teller, being an assistant manager at an apartment complex, and preschool teacher.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, volunteering at church, traveling, and skiing.
Wael Abdalrwaf, MS
Design Engineer
Wael is a structural/civil designer at Chayah. He provides structural engineering, civil engineering and calculations for a variety of projects. Wael also provides construction observation and submittal review services. Wael is well versed in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Matlab, and excels at construction observation.
Wael is working on his PHD in Structural Engineering at Colorado State University and completed his Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University and Bachelor’s of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Omar Al-Mukhtar in Libya.
Some of Wael’s accomplishments include completing framing and foundation designs for large custom homes, steel structures 3d analysis, and complex grading designs, teaching engineering courses, supervising and managing the design build of a large wastewater duct and winning employee of the year award in Libya.
In his free time, Wael enjoys volunteering, computers and technology, soccer, gaming, and coffee houses.
Matthew J. Sylvester, EI
Cindy Zielke
Cindy is the office manager for Chayah Consulting. Cindy works on receivables, payables, and financial spreadsheets.
Cindy has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Doane College in Nebraska. She has a background in hotel management and has worked as an office manager for Shear Engineering for the past 17 years.
Cindy enjoys reading, knitting, playing video games, and playing with grandchildren whenever possible.
Stephen Wingo, Civil Designer Intern
Stephen is a civil designer intern at Chayah. He provides civil engineering for a variety of projects. Stephen comes from a professional background in transmission line engineering and is experienced in PLS-CADD 3D modeling software. Pulling from that experience, Stephen now works in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
Stephen completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. Stephen plans on working towards a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
Some of Stephen’s accomplishments include graduating with Honors, moving to his dream state of Colorado, and being able to see the mountains every day.
In his free time, Stephen enjoys gaming, skateboarding, and creating art.
Design Engineer
Matthew is a structural designer at Chayah. He provides structural engineering and calculations for a variety of projects. Matthew excels at construction observation and submittal review services, especially for micropile and shoring. He enjoys bridge and custom home design and construction support and is very proficient with design software such as REVIT/Autocad.
Matthew completed his Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering at the University of California San Diego and graduated with a Project Lead the Way Certified Engineering Program from Marthin Luther King Jr. High School in Riverside, CA. He was very active during his education in leadership, sports, and volunteering.
Some of Matthew’s accomplishments include field engineering for a complex remodel in Cherry Creek, framing inspections for large custom homes, numerous academic awards, being a COSMOS structural engineering Teacher’s Assistant and Leader at UCSD, and supervising a demolition team.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys watching sports, snowboarding, and the outdoors.
Brent Balik, CET
Project Manager/Designer
Brent is a Project Manager/Designer at Chayah. He provides civil engineering and project management for a variety of projects. Brent excels at project planning, civil engineering development designs and managing projects for our clients. He is skilled in Civil 3D, On-Site Wastewater Treatment System engineering as well Stormwater Management Plans. Brent also provides civil and structural construction observations and enjoys working with our clients on the sketch plan phase of projects through construction.
Brent completed his Associate of Applied Science degree, in civil engineering technology in 2001 from Front Range Community College Larimer Campus and has worked in the industry since and enjoys continuing education and completing certifications.
Some of his accomplishments include successfully completing many infrastructure projects, commercial, residential, and recreational projects in Colorado and Wyoming, and volunteering with Front Range Community College Larimer Campus civil engineering technology program advisory board.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, and hiking.
Denmark Ignacio, P.E.
Denmark is a senior project manager/engineer at Chayah. He provides civil engineering and project management for a variety of projects.
He managed various projects in the Las Vegas valley area. He is highly skilled in AutoCAD and Civil 3D and experienced in various drainage and hydraulics software such as HEC-1 and WaterCAD.
He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology and currently have P.E. license in Nevada and Arizona.
In his free time, Denmark enjoys reading, travelling and spend time with family and friends.
