Civil Engineering Student Intern

The Civil Engineering Student Intern will be responsible for assisting in the design of primarily residential, light commercial, industrial, and civil structures under the direction of a Civil Engineer. In addition, the candidate may work on structures in mining, energy, healthcare, and other market sectors from time to time. The candidate will be designing with wood, steel (both heavy and light gauge), concrete, glass, and masonry utilizing current building and material codes, structural engineering software, and hand calculations. AutoCAD and/or Revit will be utilized daily in this position. Construction inspections and site visits will be completed to verify designs. Some client and partner coordination to complete projects will be involved. Some travel is required occasionally.
